Alissa Klein leads the contemporary worship for the Sunday service. Born in California and raised in Tennessee, she came to know Jesus when she was 8 years old and has loved Him ever since. Growing up in a musical family, she began leading worship with them at 10 years old. After graduating with a music degree in 2011, Alissa traveled the world with The Young Americans teaching music to kids. She released a folk album in 2016 called Cardiology and did two national house concert tours called “The Cardiology Experience”. She currently is in grad school studying speech therapy, teaches English online to children in China, and uses any chance she gets to fly internationally. She loves life and is happy to be here at Hope UMC!
